Sung is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Informatics at Emory University, where he works with Dr. Emily Wall in the CAV Lab. His research is at the intersection of visualization, cognitive science, artificial intelligence, and human-computer interaction.
He graduated from Virginia Tech summa cum laude with a B.S. in Computer Science, a minor in Human-Computer Interaction, and a 3.9/4.0 GPA. As an undergraduate he did research in the Notification Systems Lab with Dr. Scott McCrickard and in the IDEEAS Lab with Dr. Andrew Katz.
