Sung Oh

Sung is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Informatics at Emory University, where he works with Dr. Emily Wall in the Cognition and Visualization Lab. His research in visualization and human-computer interaction uses cognitive science approaches and AI to study how people reason and reflect when exploring data visually, and to design interventions that support them.

He graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Computer Science. During his undergraduate studies, he did research in the Notification Systems Lab with Dr. Scott McCrickard and the IDEEAS Lab with Dr. Andrew Katz.
